Bethany Swine Health StaffCarrie Pollard

Carrie Pollard serves as Technical Services Manager, a position she has had since 2007. Carrie has both an M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Illinois in Animal Science, specializing in swine management. Her duties at Bethany Swine Health Services include environmental compliance and building construction on managed farms and wean to finish consultation and data analysis. In addition, she serves as the Project Coordinator for two PRRS Area Regional Control projects that Bethany Swine Health Services is facilitating.

Carrie is a former board member of the DeKalb Area Pork Producers, and the Illinois Pork Producers She is active in the Pork Board's Main Street (OMS) program, spreading the positive message of livestock agriculture. Carrie and her husband, Brent, operate a dairy farm in the Rockford area. They have one daughter, Ainsley, born in 2012.

Bethany Swine Health StaffLarry Griebenow

Larry Griebenow is a co-manager of Post-weaning Management Services of BSMS, in addition to serving as production manager for S&S Farms and Primepork. He has 25 years experience running various units in the Bethany Swine Health Services system, managing all aspects of farrow to finish production including feed milling, construction and waste management. He is a fluent Spanish speaker who has had success in teaching different production skills and concepts to first time production employees in two languages, as well as remodeling outdated production facilities, and designing unorthodox pig flow systems using challenging combinations of facilities.

Larry was raised on a dairy farm in Southeastern Wisconsin, back when dairies were still measured in cows per son. He attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Kishwaukee Community College. He lives with his wife Debbie in Kingston and has three children.

Bethany Swine Health StaffJesus Garcia

Born and raised in La Ceiba, Honduras Jesus Garcia received his Bacholor of Arts in Animal Science from the University of Zamorano in Honduras in 2005. Jesus came to the U.S. in 2006 to do an internship with a large swine system in the panhandle of Oklahoma. He has since worked in Sow Farms, Wean to Finish, Swine Facility Quality Control and SOP development in several swine systems throughout the Midwest. He enjoys adding value to the business and working with a multi-cultural groups.

During his time off, he enjoys spending time with his son. And when time allows, Jesus likes to return to Honduras to work on the family dairy farm.
